Administrative Assistant:
LifeBridge Church is looking for an experienced, responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, 5 days a week from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Duties include providing support to office staff and volunteers, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Word, Excel, and know office equipment. This position will be an “interim position” for the first 90 days and at that time may go to a permanent position. Starting date is July 24th or negotiable.

Responsibilities:
• Answers and directs phone calls.
• Prepares staff meeting agendas and takes minutes.
• Writes and distributes email, correspondence, memos, letters, etc.
• Maintains church filing system.
• Maintains office policies and procedures.
• Maintains and orders office supplies for administrative and ministry needs.
• Maintains church contact lists through Servant Keeper and various databases.
• Provides general support to visitors.
• Maintains church website.
• Creates, edits and publishes regular printed and electronic communications to the congregation.
• Manages outside group event reservations and church events reservations.
• Maintains coffee station.
• Assists other office staff with tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar position
• Prefer Associate Degree as minimum education requirement.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, i.e. printers, folding machines, fax machines, phones
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Constant Contact and Word Press a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Polite, professional and friendly demeanor
