Michael R. Bohn
January 20, 1974 - July 26, 2010
Michael R. Bohn (Mike) was born in Westwood, New Jersey, on January 20, 1974, to loving parents, Rosemary and Karl Bohn. Shortly after Mike graduated from high school, he started employment with a mentor, learning the art of working on televisions. Mike ended up owning the store.
In the year 2000, Mike and his wife, Renee, moved to California to start their lives together. Mike worked at Sony, Microsoft, and most recently ViaSat, where he reached his goal of becoming Director of Operations.
Mike had many passions. He was an avid motocross rider and he loved the beach. He also proudly finished a half marathon and was taking boxing classes.
Mike was also a doting father. He coached his boys' soccer and T-ball teams and encouraged the boys to do their best. He genuinely loved all the kids in the neighborhood, so much so that he once brought a truckload of snow down from Palomar Mountain so that all the kids could play in it.
Mike was known as a loving husband. He and Renee's love for each other grew abundantly, especially during the last two years. Through their faith in God, they became one.
Mike leaves behind his loving and incredible wife, Renee, and three amazing children, Talon (7), Travis (5), and sweet baby girl, Tori, as well as his big brother and wife, Karl and Rachel, sister, Krista, nephews, Karl and Brandon, nieces, Maressa and Taylor, father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Bettie, brother-in-law and wife, Derek and KariLee, and grandmother, Laura.
