How did you land at LBC?
After moving to Rancho Bernardo we brought our kids to the AWANA Cubbies program at the church. We started going to Sunday services and got involved in kids’ choir programs.
What is unique about you?
I am a former missionary to Mexico and the Philippines. I once shared Christ with 7 gang members (fully armed) that wouldn’t listen to another missionary man who tried for years to reach them… they all accepted Christ and this man laughed and said “God has a great sense of humor to have a petite woman being able to reach them!”
What is your favorite restaurant or food?
My husband and I love Mama’s Fish House in Maui. I also love anywhere that has great prime rib and overlooks the ocean.
Name one of your talents:
My artistic creativity, quilting and sewing, great listener and honor privacy, plus heart for prayer which has been a gift for me to give to others. Also cooking and gardening.
