Acts: Beginnings – The Reach of Grace

READ Acts 10:23-11:18

  1.  Why is the story of Cornelius’s conversion so important?  How does his story speak to the sin of partiality?
  2.  Why is fellowship around food and in homes so important in the Bible?  How should we apply this in our world and homes today?
  3. How did God ‘convert’ Peter to the implications of Christianity?  (See 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 1:16; Gal. 3:10-13; Deut. 21:22-23)
  4. How does the story of Cornelius and Peter advance the Gospel, and transition the message of the book of Acts?  What opportunities can you pray about in your life/world for the Gospel?
